upcoming Florida Keys Green Living & Energy Expo. We're

Join an estimated 2,500 visitors, residents, builders,
contractors, utilities, and environmental organizations at the
Florida Keys Green Living & Energy Expo on March 12 and 13, 2005, in
Tavernier, Florida. The expo is being held at the spacious new
Coral Shores High School – located between Key Largo and Islamorada in
the Florida Keys – within easy driving distance of Miami, Fort
Lauderdale, and Key West.
This free
event is dedicated to demonstrating sustainable living through ideas and
technologies that promote renewable energy and water and energy
conservation.
The University of Florida/IFAS/ Monroe County
Extension, along with residents who have built sustainable homes, are
organizing the Expo. South Florida Water Management District, The
Florida Keys Electric Cooperative, Comcast Corporation, Florida Keys
Aqueduct Authority, The Nature Conservancy, The Reporter, the
Keynoter, Keys Energy Services, Azul del Mar Resort, the Florida
Green Building Coalition, Florida Solar Energy Center, Key Largo Chamber
of Commerce, Eco-$mart, WCI Communities, Tarpon Flats Inn, Coconut Palm
Inn, First State Bank, and Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary as
well as other government and environmental groups (including
Last Stand) will be participants
and sponsors.
