Join us as Keys in the Balance, Last Stand’s popular moderated panel discussion, explores the Tourist Development Council -- its purpose, taxes and expenditures.

What:  A panel discussion on tourist development & other tourism issues

When:  Thursday, April 29  6:30PM

Where: NOAA's Dr. Nancy Foster Environmental Center,   Truman Waterfront, Key West

The program is free and open to the public

The panel will include:

Michael Browning, representing the Key West Chamber of Commerce

Ed Scales, City Commissioner and TDC liaison for city of Key West

Elliot Baron, representing Committee for a Livable Old Town

Rosalind Brackenbury, local poet and author, citizen-at-large

A representative of Florida Keys Council of the Arts

Janet Flatley, regular short-term visitor, citizen-at-large

Suzanne Hutton, Assistant County Attorney, will present an overview of The Tourist Development Council.

 

A very short business meeting will precede the program, in order for a membership vote on a couple of by-law changes. The language of the changes is included in the April Bugle Call.
 
Refreshments and social hour will follow the program.
